Debbie Case, Chief Directional Officer

Debbie has extensive experience in both executive level non-profit management, as well as senior level retail. She is an entrepreneur at heart. Her creative and motivational skill sets enable her to drive revenue through short and long term strategic planning and effective prioritization of tactical activities. As the President & CEO of Meals on Wheels San Diego County, she was instrumental in taking a struggling organization to one of the powerhouse organizations supporting seniors.  Debbie's proactive focus was to achieve financial goals to serve more seniors while creating a sound and secure agency that endures for generations to come. 

Prior to joining the Meals on Wheels family in December 2008, Debbie's obtained extensive executive-level experience in large non-profits with organizations such as Child Abuse Prevention Foundation, American Red Cross and the San Diego Opera.  In 2018 she brought in the largest donation to Meals on Wheels San Diego County of $4.5 Million.

Her Senior Executive level retail experience includes over 22 years with Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as Delaware North Parks and Resort's in Old Town 

San Diego Historic Park.

An Ohio University Graduate with a triple major in Pre-Med, Physical Therapy and Psychology, Debbie attended the State University of Buffalo School of Medicine for several years. Her thirst for knowledge continued with a Certification in Strategic & Systems Thinking at University San Diego and the Haines Institute and attended the Harvard Business School Non-for-Profit Program in San Diego.

Debbie also serves the community by being a Founder and Leader of the 

San Diego Senior Alliance, the Co-Founder and Past President of the 

Meals on Wheels California State Association, a Patron Member of the Board of Directors of USO San Diego and is a past Board Member of Meals on Wheels America.
